Clinus brevicristatus, known commonly as the Cape klipfish in South Africa,[1] is a species of clinid in the genus Clinus.[2] It is a subtropical blenny found around South Africa in the southeastern Atlantic Ocean.[2] It was named by J.D.F. Gilchrist and W.W. Thompson in 1908,[3] and can reach a maximum length of 12 centimetres.[2]
